WHO WE ARE
MorningCreek Designs is a company that provides elegant personalized gifts, souvenirs, and gift shop items with laser technology to create 2 1/2D and 3D crystal images laser etched deep inside the crystal shape. We provide only the highest quality products MADE IN THE USA.
HOW DO YOU CREATE THE "CRYSTAL PHOTOS"
We start by taking your photo, we then create a computer file ( if photo is sent by mail, we scan it to create the computer file). After that is done, the computer file is checked to be sure that the image is clear and free from defects. The computer file is then downloaded into the laser computer and off we go. The computer guided laser then creates tiny fractures deep inside the crystal in the exact image of the photograph.
WILL YOU TOUCH UP MY PHOTO BEFORE YOU ENGRAVE IT.
We may do minor touch up to your photograph before we proceed. This is done to insure quality assurance. We do remove unwanted backgrounds. Above all, we do all of our work with our scanned computer file and do not touch your original photo. Your original photograph will be returned to you with your order.
CAN I HAVE TEXT WITH MY "CRYSTAL PHOTO"
Yes you can. There is an extra fee for this and we can etch just about any inscription you want. It is limited based on the size of the crystal. Many of our clients love this because it then makes their gift personalized and one of a kind. Text can also be etched into the base of the presentation crystals.
WHAT SHIPPING METHOD IS USED
We ship all of our products by UPS ground. We cannot ship to a PO Box. All orders are processed within 24 hours of receipt but depending on variables it usually takes between 10 - 15 business days to reach your doorstep. Of course there are things that are out of our control such as transportation strikes, weather. Please note that we will only ship to addresses in the continental US. (Sorry no COD's)
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY
MorningCreek Designs guarantees the quality of every product we sell and we inspect every order 100% for workmanship before we ship and make every effort to insure that your item is delivered to you safely. Your "crystal photo" is created as unique and personal only to you, we cannot resell your "crystal photo" to anyone else. We build our business on your trust in our products and we will continue to operate in this direction. We insure every order with UPS and you are the beneficary of that insurance claim. If your order is not 100% free from shipping defects you must contact UPS with the insurance claim. MorningCreek Designs does not do this for you. Cancellations and changes to orders must be made via email within 24 hours of placing your order.
ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT:
When we receive your order we will send you an email acknowledgment. It will be from MorningCreek Designs, so please look at your email carefully before deleting. We do not SPAM our clients. All orders will be shipped UPS ground FOB Chattanooga, TN. Please allow 10-15 business days for completed orders. We will email you when your order has been shipped along with a tracking number. Digital photographs can be e-mailed or mailed on disk. Minimum resolution required is 300 dpi at the size of the final etched image. If e-mailing your photo, it should be saved in JPEG format at the highest quality setting. If you mail us your photograph, it will be returned with your order in original condition. Please keep in mind that the size and shape of the crystal you order will determine what can fit. Our graphic artists can remove backgrounds and will place your personalization within the crystal. Text must be typed or printed clearly in the space provided on the order form in black ink. In focus photos with good contrast, will yield the best results. After we receive your order and photo, if we see any problems we will contact you. We are not responsible for photos lost or damaged in shipping. We recommend you put your photo between two pieces of cardboard for mailing. In addition, we recommend using a shipping method with a tracking number.
